TRIMESTER CHART

Pregnancy is a period of significant life changes, new experiences, and the glow of new life. It’s also a moment when your body undergoes several changes. Here’s a summary of what to expect as your pregnancy advances.

4th week - Watch your baby (now an embryo) four weeks into your pregnancy. The epiblast and hypoblast are two layers of cells that make up your baby's growth.

8th week - One of the delights of the first day of life is marvelling at a baby's tiny fingers and toes. This week, the fingers and toes are just starting to develop, and the arms are flexing at the elbows and wrists.
13th week  - The second trimester of pregnancy is here! Your placenta has grown and is now supplying oxygen, nourishment. The placenta also produces the hormones progesterone and oestrogen, which aid in the pregnancy's continuation.

18th Week - The ears stand out from the head in their ultimate posture. Start practising your lullabies now, because your baby will most likely be able to hear them in the following weeks!

22nd- Your baby's senses for learning about the world are developing on a regular basis. Keep an Eye on Your Child's Development Taste buds have begun to form on the tongue, and the baby  brain and nerve endings have developed sufficiently to allow it to experience touch.

27th Week - Your baby appears similar to what he or she will look like at birth during the first week of the third trimester, but thinner and smaller. Your baby's lungs, liver, and immune system are still developing, but if born now, he or she would have a very excellent chance of surviving.

31st Week - Keep an Eye on Your Child's Development He or she is also ingesting amniotic fluid, which is refilled numerous times during the day.

36th Week - The teeny-tiny wrinkled foetus you observed on previous ultrasounds is quickly turning into a chubby infant. Your baby's larger face is due to fat on the cheeks and powerful sucking muscles. Your baby is now a pound and a half (2,721 grams).

40th Week - Your baby has arrived after months of anticipation and planning! Or perhaps not - most women don't give birth on their expected due dates. Many first-time mothers have to wait up to two weeks for their baby to come after their due date.
